MERE WOMEN RETURN WITH SKIN FOR SPLIT SINGLES CLUB

MERE WOMEN RETURN WITH SKIN FOR SPLIT SINGLES CLUB

Sydney post punk quartet Mere Women recently released their emotively tough single, ‘Skin’. It forms one side of a split single with Melbourne band Harmony as part of the  second edition of the Split Singles Club curated by Poison City Records and Our Golden Friend. It’s a highly charged affair and despite the ample space provided between bass, guitar and vocals you can feel the power surging from every corner as a pummeling beat and muscular rhythm provide a perfect backdrop for Flyn Mckinnirey’s soaring guitar work and Amy Wilson’s intense and impassioned vocals.

The Split Singles Club, begun last year by Milk! Records and Bedroom Suck, features 12 artists on six double A side 7″ vinyl records. They include RVG, MOD CON, Stella Donnelly, Bitch Diesel, Bench Press and Elizabeth Mitchell from Totally Mild. ‘Skin’ is only available to stream through Spotify below and if you want the track on wax or digitally join the Split Singles Club and buy all six 7″s here.
