Often there is beauty in simplicity and that shines through on Jackson Phillip’s new single under his Day Wave moniker, ‘Come Home Now’. It continues the trajectory begun the classically trained musician on his Headcase EP release a couple of months back with nostalgic jangly guitar replacing his earlier electronic roots, although synth does appear here to good effect in the intro and outro.
