Dutch artist Annette de Graaf is set to release her debut album as Amber Arcades this coming Autumn/Spring and first single ‘Turning Light’ marks a stark and sudden change from her folk tinged singer-songwriter approach laid down on her EP from last year, Patiently. ’Turning Light’ employs de Graaf’s dreamy vocals, coupling up with shimmering kaleidoscopic synth ensconsed inside a metronomic beat. Enlisting Ben Greenwood (production) and Keven Lareau on bass, it took little more than an hour to write and an hour to record on an early New York morning.
