After six weeks of listening to hundreds of new tracks, its finally time to unleash the first weekly Top 30 chart of 2016. South London producer Mark Greene, aka Fort Romeau takes the first top spot of the year with the emotive house inspired epic, ‘Secrets & Lies’, arguably his best track since 2013’s ‘Jetée’. Taking out second spot is Dutch artist Amber Arcades with her new single, ‘Turning Light’. At three is Montreal’s Essaie pas with, ‘Le port du masque est de riguer’ the first single from their new record Demain est une autre nuit while mysterious R&B producer dvsn sits at 4 with the sultry ‘Hallucinations’. Rounding out the Top 5 is New York City outfit Sunflower Bean with the shimmering glide that is ‘Easier Said’ off their debut record, Human Ceremony.

The remainder of the chart contains new tracks from Dan Boeckner’s side project Operators, the erstwhile Woods, Jack Tatum’s Wild Nothing (Life of Pause is out Friday), Alan Maine’s Porches, Day Wave, Dinner, Matt Kivel, RYAN Playground, Casey Mecija, Naps, Free Time, Charles and Postiljonen (Reverie out Friday) among others.
