The new tracks out from Cass McCombs, ‘Opposite House’ (13) and Jenny Hval, ‘Female Vampire’ (15) head the new entries on our Top 30 this week. Previously featured artists Amaroun, ‘The Fear’ (23), KAUF ‘A Ruin’ (24) and Still Parade, ‘Chamber’ (27) join them.
The FOUR tracks to come into the chart that we have not featured are led off by Philadelphia’s nostalgic synth pop outfit Work Drugs with their mighty fine new single, ‘Roll’. We’ve featured them many times over the years and this track, unsurprisingly written in Miami given its summery disposition, debuts at 25. It’s one in and one out for Yumi Zouma as they released their Indie30 AOTW listed Yoncalla last week. ‘Short Truth’ replaces ‘Keep It Close To Me’ at 26. At 29 is ‘Sane’, the heavy hitting single from Brighton’s Fear Of Men who drop their new album Fall Forever worldwide this week. To complete the eight new entries, mysterious Swedish act Lidija debuts at 30 with the longing and heartfelt ‘Only Love’. Check out these three tracks below.
Moves this week included EVVOL obliterating the Top 10 second week in with the sauntering bass heaven of ‘Comfort Fit’ sitting at 6 while Oyinda also hits the Top 10 at 8 with ‘Flatline’. Nite Jewel ascends seven places to 12 with ‘Kiss The Screen’ while Few Bits are up six to 18 with ‘Summer Sun’.
Meanwhile D∆WN remains at No. 1 for the fourth week with the Kingdom produced, ‘Honest’.
