OMNI TO DROP DELUXE NEXT MONTH

OMNI TO DROP DELUXE NEXT MONTH

Atlanta art rock trio Omni is set to drop its spiky riff filled debut album Deluxe next month. Sporting Franky Broyles, one time guitarist for Deerhunter along with ex Carnivores members Philip Frobos and Billy Mitchell driving the rhythm section, Omni’s Deluxe is a swift ride, the influences of which collect multiple decades. From the garage of the 60’s, to the post punk and new wave of the 70s and 80s to the wiry 00’s Calgary sound of Women it clocks in seamlessly at just under 30 minutes, so really it’s in no way Deluxe in a time sense. Late last month, they released their slim and funky second single ‘Wire’ to follow up first single, the brief and mathematically urgent ‘Afterlife’. You can check out both tracks and their videos below. Deluxe is out on Trouble In Mind, July 8.
