Oakland new wave synth pop trio Introflirt have announced the release their second full length, Temporary Heaven early next month. The second single is the starry eyed ‘Orange Light’ and is a perfect embodiment of vocalist Ben Benjamin’s emotive croon. The organic vocals should be miles away from the celestial like musical approach but actually fit hand in glove. The album lyrically represents the difficult and often paralysing dichotomy between hiding yourself away from potential but inevitable disappointment and putting yourself out there to fulfil the desire to be social and intimate. Beautifully bleak and bleakly beautiful. In addition to the aforementioned ‘Orange Light’, we’ve also included first single, the slow, motorik influenced and bass heavy, ‘Frozen Lace’ below. The album is out August 2. Pre-order it HERE.
