Last week saw electronic producer Felicita take a dark approach to his pop experimentalism with the release of the genre-defying opening track ‘A New Family’ off his forthcoming EP of the same name. Beginning with buzzsaw synths and death metal overtones, it soon urgently veers into defiant mood then builds to a death pop induced frenzied crescendo before settling satisfied into an ending that will make you initially anything but.
