It’s been almost four years since the release of the last Beach Fossils record Clash The Truth and now the Dustin Payseur led outfit are set to return with their third long player, Somersault. The first single to appear from it is the gorgeously translucent, unassumingly angular and strings laden ‘This Year’, almost a return to the more laid back and relaxed feel they exuded on the 2011 EP, What A Pleasure, out personal fave here. Expect an array of lush instrumentation to embellish the rest of the record too. The track complete with their Joey Chriqui shot directed visuals which sees the album cover banner given a gentle walk around the streets of Brooklyn is below. Somersault is out June 2 through Payseur’s label he owns with his partner Katie Garcia, Bayonet Records. Pre-order the vinyl here.
