Brisbane based Rebel Yell unleashed her new single this week complete with video. Indie30 first featured the project of Grace Stevenson back in August last year with the hypnotically abrasive ’Never Perfection’ off her impressive debut EP Mother of Millions. The new track ‘High Authority’ rachets up the dance focus as massive percussive beats is surrounded by an incessant, spaced out assortment of dark video game like blips and pulses and industrial collisions. Lyrically, it seems to reflect more than a fuck you attitude to those who seek to limit the horizons of women with Stevenson firmly taking control.
