Indie30

As the 100th day in office approaches in the United States for the detestable far-right fascist Trump regime, Our First 100 Days, a campaign organised by Revolutions Per Minute and the Secretly Group has been releasing a track for every painful day of it to support the vital work of organisations fighting climate change and working for women’s equality, for the rights of immigrants and a socially just and fair society. On Day 95, Brooklyn’s Beach Fossils contributed the uber smooth ‘Silver Tongue’ which you can hear below. Other artists to contribute include Angel Olsen, Toro Y Moi, Bowerbirds, Califone, A Place To Bury Strangers, Wild Nothing, Marissa Nadler, Protomartyr, Julianna Barwick, Okkervil River and How To Dress Well. You can grab all 100 tracks on May 1st, the 100th day here, set ironically yet poetically to coincide with International Workers Day.
