Göteborg quintet Agent Blå have released a slew of singles in the long lead up to their self titled debut album in June. The latest track they’ve shared is the relentless album opener ‘Derogatory Embrace’. Dark undertones, delay drenched guitars and urgent rhythms characterise the record along with its deep and foreboding lyrical content driven forward by vocalist Emelie Atatalo’s mixture of heartache and disdain. It’s an impressive debut when you consider all five members of the band are between 17-20 years old. Listen to the latest single below as well as the melodic and cautionary ‘(Don’t) Talk To Strangers’ . If you have Spotify you can check out all five. Agent Blå is out June 9 via Luxxury in Sweden and on Kanine everywhere else. Available on limited edition vinyl, pre-order the Swedish/European version here while the US version is here.
