Last week saw the release of the debut EP Hopeless Romantic from guitar pop outfit High Sunn, the project of San Francisco artist Justin Cheromiah. It’s the result of the 17 year old stepping out of the bedroom to make his studio debut, enlisting the help of a live band as well as producer Dylan Wall who’s done work for Craft Spells and Naomi Punk. The approach on the tracks both amps up the production but stays true to Cheromiah’s lo-fi beginnings. Check out the raucous and cautionary ‘Good Evening’ below and grab a copy on limited edition vinyl here through PNKSLM.
