English DIY psych rock quintet Ulrika Spacek released their new album yesterday. Titled Modern English Decoration and taking its cues from a mixture of blissed out psych, rock, pop and motorik stylings, its unassuming lo fi aesthetic stems from the bands determination to produce homespun natural recordings. Three tracks have been shared from it in the lead up. Listen to the disciplined and hypnotic ‘Full Of Men’, the slight yet cacophonous album opener ‘Mimi Pretend’ and the fuzz laden shoegaze of last year’s single ‘Everything, All The Time’ below.
