Last week saw the release of the amazing new album, Warmth from New York City duo Blondes, the project that emanates from the forensic and formidable dance music intellects of Sam Haar and Zach Steinman. We’ve been hanging for another full length offering since they released the incredible Swisher, our 7th best album of 2013. Warmth is well worth the four year wait and we’ve been mesmerised by its restless rhythms and muscular ambience all week. Immerse and lose yourself in the two tracks they’ve shared thus far below. The first is the hard, shifting and ethereal techno of ‘KDM’, while the latest is the sonically fluorescent ‘Clipse’. This is electronic dance music at its very finest. Absolutely outstanding. Get it here on R&S.
