Last month The Radio Dept. dropped a new EP based around the 12″ version of ‘Teach Me To Forget’ a track from last year’s outstanding LP Running Out Of Love. It’s very much in keeping with their usual modus operandi between albums where they have released EP’s that contain many a fine non-album track. This six tracker includes two new cuts, the instructive down tempo funk of ‘Just So’ and the pastoral melancholy of ‘You’re Not In Love’.
In addition to that, Swedish producer and former Tough Alliance member Henning Fürst has given ‘We Got Game’ the treatment while while Göteborg electronic outfit Mythologen brings the darkness to ‘Swedish Guns’. The EP is closed by one of our favourites, Istanbul synth duo Kim Ki O, giving Teach Me To Forget a spaced out rework.
