Armenian DJ/Producers Armen Miran and Hraach have again teamed up to gift us another deep house wonder in the form of the Nervous Layers EP. It’s there first collaboration since the Inevitable Ending EP from last year. Exploring other worlds with their hypnotic grooves and deeply affecting synth work, it contains three amazing creations, the first of which is the subterranean inspired title track. Beginning with an insistent yet subtle melody and a circling theremin like synth, the track is soon undulating at 118bpm with its bass groove prominent and percolating synths bubbling away. The theremin like sound snakes its way through the track to lasting effect. The EP is out on New York label Earthly Delights. Get it here.
