In late August, Swedish techno label Drumcode released their sixth instalment of their A-side series. The opening track, the dark and intense ‘In Silence’ from Antwerp DJ/Producer Amelie Lens is beguiling in its myriad of effects relentless thumping beat, menacing bass whir and its icily distant vocal mantra. Techno aficionados have been lapping it up on dance floors all over Europe for the last month and it’s currently sitting high up in many best of lists for September.
