Porches, the synth pop project of Aaron Maine, is set to follow up the brilliant Pool from 2016 with a new album The House set for release in the new year. Two very different singles and their videos were released last month. The first, a delicate slow burning sub 2 minute duet with Dev Hynes in the form of ‘Country’ while the latest ‘Find Me’ is a powerfully emotive synth laden thumper more in keeping with the trajectory that emanated from Pool. Apart from Hynes, the album features guest appearances from Bryndon Cook, Okay Kaya, Maya Laner, Cameron Wisch (Cende) & Alex G.
