Melbourne via Wellington artist Sarah Mary Chadwick releases her much anticipated new album, Sugar Still Melts In The Rain this week. The former Batrider frontwoman today shared the heartbreaking ‘Five Months’ which sees her issue a touching yet forlorn plea for the return of what seems a love permanently lost. It’s very much in keeping with the album’s musically sparse yet powerful balladry and its unflinchingly honest autobiographical lyrics.

Check it out below along with second single ‘Flow Over Me, an glowingly ornamental chord driven quest to feel alive in circumstances good and bad. It replaces the title track in this week’s Top 30.

The outstanding Sugar Still Melts In The Rain is out this Friday May 11 on Rice Is Nice (AUS/NZ) and Sinderlyn (ROW).
