“You’re passing up on the real stuff”

Melbourne’s dark experimental electronic duo HTRK are set to release their first new material in four years in the form of a two track EP Drama. Last week they shared ‘Mentions’, an exercise in both attachment and detachment. Jonnine Standish sings with clarity and purpose about the limits inherent in today’s disconnected communication forms while ominous bass and  Nigel Yang’s wiry guitar chords drip with delay and hang hypnotically over a broken beat signature. Listen below and pre-order Drama here. It’s out on July 6 through Ghostly International.
