PLAYLIST UPDATE – 29 JULY: Our last publicised House update occurred almost three weeks ago so as you’d expect there are more than a few new ones here. Leading us off is Barcelona based American DJ/Producer Maceo Plex with the atmospheric minimal tech-house imbued A side ‘Mutant Pulse’ (feat Paradigm Shift) from his new EP Mutant 2 on (Ellum Black).  The first solo release of the year from Cape Town artist Jackie Queens is next with her new single ‘Love Will Wait’ (Bae Electronic) while Italian DJ/Producer Whitesquare follows with his percussive wonder ‘Dahlass’ (Whitesquare Series). Vilnius DJ/Producer Few Nolder with ‘Midnight Oil’ (Poesie Music). Following that pair is Adam Port‘s welcome new deep house single ‘Do You Still Think Of Me’ (Keinemusik).

Berlin based Spaniard SIS is next with the title track ‘Danzan’ (Mobilee)from his new EP followed by the smooth ‘Apertura’ (Anjunadeep) from Dee Montero . The collaboration between Irish producers Socket Hog and Dego nestle in after that with ‘Reset’ (Hydrogen) from early in the month before the left field lo-fi house goodness of ‘Get Up to Get Down’ from Ben Hauke gets a guernsey. It’s off his new album ‘Only Old’ (Far Out Recordings)

New York City’s The Juan Maclean return with their new single ‘Just Once More’ (Classic Music Company) before London’s Emery Warman continues the groove with a play on a familiar theme with ‘Underground Joint’ from his Wild Awake EP (Moan) Then, Edinburgh’s Telfort produces an old school cut with an emphasis on acid bass lines, warm piano and classic vocal samples on the title track from his new EP ‘Rooms For Speculation’  (Lionoil Industries).

The deep yet subtle grooves of Irish producer Mano Le Tough’s ‘Vanishing Landscapes’ comes from the Cocoon Compilation R before the catchy ‘Pale Blue Dot’, the first single from Ross From Friends‘ new album Family Portrait on Brainfeeder while  LOR‘s new album is out shortly and the space themed title track ‘Lunar Orbit Rendevouz’ (LOREC) is the first single from it and following that is the equally transcendent icy sounds of ‘Cold Winds’ from Russian producer 8Lives (FAKTURA).

The beautifully propulsive ‘Back On Train’ is UK Veteran producer Quivver‘s (John Graham) contribution to Oliver Koletzk‘s 28 track comp Schneeweiß 9 for Still Vor Talent. French label Strctr‘s four track compilation Virtual Area sports the instantly agreeable ‘Timecode’ by French DJ/Producer Mara Lakour. Melbeourne’s String Theorum is next with the title track from the Night Poerty EP (CLIPP_ART) and Japan’s Jun Kamoda follows with ‘Dance Sweet Dance’ off the AMAI DANCE EP (Hopera). Two excellent tracks from late June we neglected to include were Róisín Murphy‘s defiant ‘Plaything’ (The Vinyl Factory) and DJ 3000‘s ‘Raki’ from the Hadje EP on Motech. Two replacement tracks from Tilman ‘Talking About Today’ and ‘A Moment Of Clarity’ both off Beyond My Soul (Fineand DJ Boring ‘Found Love’ for ‘Exotic Feelin’ off the Tahn EP on Shall Not Fade.

OLDER UPDATES

PLAYLIST UPDATE – 10 JULY: Four new tracks today. The elastic old school groove of ‘A Moment Of Clarity’ from Mainz DJ producer Tilman. The multi-faceted ‘Can’t Cry’ by Swede Lukas Lyrestom runs like an encyclopaedia of house styles from jackin’ to deep. ‘Pinao’ is another super involved style shifter from New York based producer Anthony NaplesLocked Groove‘s sublime title track on his new 2 track EP ‘From Beyond’ is a deeply affecting take on a well known motif.

UPDATE – 9 JULY: New York City electronic and house producer Galcher Lustwerk leads off the latest update of tracks in our House playlist with the sublime coolness of ‘This N’ That’, one of the many album standouts from his new album 200% Galcher. He is joined by English and Dutch DJ/Producers respectively Caroline Banx & Thee J Johanz, aka Banx & Westerman with ‘Licking Chocolate’ the title track from a two track EP out last week. Berlin based producer Emanuel Satie who is joined by MAMA for the amazing ‘Paris’, his latest Get Physical single. We could of chosen any number of tracks but the propulsively emotional ‘Under the Skin’ gets the nod. Antwerp producer Supreems has dropped another EP on Lobster Theremin. The gleaming closer off the four tracker, ‘Stream Of Conciousness’ comes from it. A couple f weeks back DJ Boring dropped another super nice left field house release with his For Than EP. The carefully constructed ‘Exotic Feelin’ is our pick from it. More left field out there is the manic new single from Swedish producer Mr Tophat who utilises machine and human on drums to fuck with tempo on ‘Only One’, a track in many guises. This is followed up by English Producer Emery Warman & Spanish equivalent David Salgado, aka Makanan with ‘Solero’, the title track off their new EP out this week. Rounding out the 10 is Fryhide owner HOSH who has enlisted Montreal’s Groj on vocals for the deep house number ‘Jedi’. More deep house comes from Jonas Rathsman in the form of ‘Draumzer’ and Mandar‘s gorgeous ‘String Theory, released in May but just brought to our attention The last new addition comes from TEE MANGO (Tom Mangan) with the half jackin’ stomper ‘Prototypical’.
