Last Friday English genre defying quintet Toy released two superbly diverse singles that come together physically to form a double A sided 500 copy limited edition 12″ on vinyl. ‘The Willo’ is a deceptive seven minute piece of disoriented somnambulist psychedelia while ‘Energy’ is thrillingly sludgy, melodious and motorik inspired. It’s their first release for London independent Tough Love and is a taster to what can be expected on their fourth long player due in January.
