Malmö avant-garde pop quartet We Float have shared ‘Inside’, the third single from their forthcoming album, What’s Really Real. As promised, the band are slow dripping a track every fortnight in the lead up to the album’s release next month. The introspective ‘Inside’ is musically a vehicle for both the delicate and absorbing vocals of Linda Bergström and the sparkling work of guest guitarist Samuel Hallkvist. Lyrically, bassist and chief songwriter Anne Marte Eggen implores us to slow down, pause and take time to internalise and reflect on what really matters in a personal sense. Salient too at a time where life is being lived at almost break neck speed and we are all being pulled from pillar to post by the superflous agendas of others. ‘Inside’ follows on from the quasi-anthemic reminiscence of ‘We’ from two weeks back and the transportive first single, ‘REM’ from a month ago which we shared complete with its video here. Listen to both ‘Inside’ and ‘We’ below and look out for What’s Really Real to drop via Havtorn Records on November 9.
