Kabsa is the new experimental and Levantine inspired EP from Berlin based Glaswegian DJ/Producer Brian d’Souza aka Auntie Flo. Recorded entirely in analog fashion in one take using an array of hardware, the soothing luminosity that lights up each track is a pure delight. Kabsa contains three original tracks, the pastoral ‘Baba’ and the dramatic ‘Ras’ and a remix of the busy yet relaxed title track by Nicola Cruz and represents a yet another movement in d’Souza’s fascinating musical directions. It follows on from last year’s full length Radio Highlife for Brownswood Recordings.
