Brooklyn electronic trio Sandy have released their enveloping and quietly spectacular new four track EP, Traces. A dyadic affair, its widescreen and introspective pop sensibilities are both suggestive of endless possibility and demanding of deep examination.
Opener ‘Holy One’ is a super supple and dreamily off kilter affair and is followed by the enticing ‘Signals’, a track beguiling in its eeriness. The EP’s advance single ‘Not There’ with its laid back timing and hushed vibe is a work of measured bliss while ‘Spoken’ ends proceedings on a plane of almost heightened drama.
We’ve got all 4 tracks covered. Watch the Kevin Mahoney and Andy Egan directed video for ‘Not There’ and listen to ‘Spoken’ below while the other two tracks are now playing in our New Music Playlists on Spotify, ‘Holy One’ in Electronic Pop and ‘Signals’ in Experimental & Electronic.
