Last week New Delhi DJ/Producer Hamza Rahimtula released Tonemes, his new Deep Tech infused two track EP for Viva Recordings. Side A featuring the dub infused procession of ‘Bourj Hammoud’, a glassy sub-bass wonder with a delightfully subtle groove. It precedes the more bullish and buoyant title track which positively pulses away in hypnotic fashion with a percussive motif not unlike that used in Anja Schneider’s 2017 highlight ‘Twisty’. The track also features the collaborative work of emerging fellow New Delhi producer Mehul Pant.
