The quality at present in the genres that are represented in our New Electronic Pop Playlist is such that since release day last Friday we’ve turned over every track. Among the new entries is lead track ‘Frozen Love’, one of any we could have picked from Melonday, the outstanding new album by Seattle artist Tomo Nakayama. It’s so good we’ve made it our current album of the week. Apart from the infectious and inspiring new single, ‘Overtime’ we featured earlier  today from New York based artist Ayelle, other artists who released music in the past week include another New York City based artist and Rubblebucket member Kalmia Traver aka Kalbells with the surreal ‘Tremble’, Austin sextet Sweet Spirit with the catchy retro pop of ‘No Dancing’, Cleveland artist Alina Baraz with the super soulful  ‘Endlessly’ and L.A. artist Kacy Hill with the upbeat ‘Porsche’, her second single since she relaunched her career independent of the label owned by one Kanye West.

Following those six artists, there’s also brand new music from Stockholm singer songwriter SHY Martin, Bogota duo Salt Cathedral, San Francisco producer Spencer Brown assisted by New York City duo Paperwhite, Nagoya quartet EASTOKLAB, Ernest Greene’s Washed Out, Sao Paulo composer and producer Gabriel Eduardo aka Windows 96, Portland’s STRFKR, London artists Westerman and Jasmine Jethwa as well as two excellent new tracks from Italians Do It Better artists Valletta’s JOON and Montreal trio Desire.

Also featured is this list of luminaries; Vlossom, Dillon Francis & Babyjake, Limon Limon, Mini Trees, GRAE, GINEVRA, Sweet Whirl, Rina Sawayama, 20 Milk, Cuntrie & Elsa Carmona, Yaeji with collab. from Yon Yon & G.L.A.M, SKIA and Jerskin Fendrix,

The Tracks of the 2020 Series: Electronic Pop Playlist where you will find every track that’s featured and removed from this list will be available shortly.
